ATWS 2025 stands for Adventure Travel World Summit, a global summit that will be held in Chile. It is a key event for the adventure tourism industry and will bring together operators, destinations, specialized media, and other key actors of the area. ATWS 2025 will be held in Puerto Natales, at the heart of the Chilean Patagonia from October 13^th to 16^th .

The Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) 2025 will last for four days, from October 13^th to  16^th in Puerto Natales, Chile. Additionally, there will be activities between 30 to 40 days before this global summit in different regions across our country.

This event represents a unique platform to reinforce the image of Chile as the main destination for nature, adventure and sustainability and will generate a direct impact on the international standing, the development of the tourism business and the visibility of national destinations. This will be the second time that Chile hosts the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS), organized by the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA).

If you wish to be part of the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) 2025, there are many ways of participating as a business or as an entrepreneur, depending on your activity, location, and level of involvement. If you are a tour operator in Magallanes, you can apply to the Day of Adventure until June 6^th. Craftsmen, coffee shops and accommodations can apply as Adventure Hosts. Are you a production company? The transfer to the Polideportivo Municipal will take place between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM on Monday, October 13. Transportation for all delegates will depart from Plaza de Armas Arturo Prat to the Polideportivo Municipal, venue of ATWS 2025.

To participate in the business roundtable that will be carried out during ATWS 2025, you must fulfill the following requirements: Be an active member of ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association), buy your ticket to attend the summit and acquire the additional pass to attend the business roundtable. This activity will include twelve pre-scheduled meetings with international buyers specializing in adventure tourism. DOA (Day of Adventure) is a key day at the summit that will be held on Tuesday, October 15^th.  On this day, all the participants will experience adventure tourism in the Magallanes Region, choosing between a variety of itineraries especially designed for the occasion. The date to apply has already expired on June 6^th, 2025.

The Chapuzón de los Fiordos is a recreational and tourism activity held in southern Chile, especially in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region. It consists of a collective plunge into icy waters, where participants jump in as a challenge, a festive tradition, and a way to experience nature in its purest form. Organized by the Tourism Guilds of the Province of Última Esperanza, it will take place on October 12 at 2:00 p.m. on the Puerto Natales waterfront, in front of the Monument to the Wind. In 2025, the Chapuzón takes on a special meaning as the symbolic opening of the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS 2025), the main event of the adventure travel industry, which will bring together more than 800 professionals from around the globe in Puerto Natales.

It will take place between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM on Monday, October 13. Transportation will be provided from the Polideportivo Municipal to the Opening Reception venue immediately following the conclusion of the last session. This transfer will take 2 hours.
