A visit to the Moncopulli Auto Museum will take you on a time travel journey straight to the 1950s, with perfectly preserved models of classic vehicles in a unique experience in Chile. The museum opened on November 17, 1995, with 23 cars; its vision was to share car culture with the public. Bernardo Eggers and his family founded this singular space.

How to get there by air
The Cañal Bajo Carlos Hott Siebert Airport (ZOS) receives direct flights from Santiago (SCL). The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can land at El Tepual Airport (PMC) in Puerto Montt, located 100 kilometers south, and complete the journey to Osorno by transfer or bus via the main highway in about an hour.
How to get there by land
Osorno is located at kilometer 913 of Route 5 South. It is accessible by intercity buses from all over Chile. From Argentina, the Cardenal Samoré Pass connects Villa La Angostura with this area. The roads are well-paved, facilitating access to Puyehue to visit the car museum, located about 25 kilometers from the city center via Route 215.
Climate and clothing
The climate is temperate and rainy. In summer, days are pleasant but nights are cool. We recommend dressing in layers, including a light waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and sunscreen for the clear afternoons typical of the southern region.
